COCK-A-DOODLIN'!

November leaves lead to reflective mirrors to the Soul telling me to slow down, look around and appreciate friends, family and community. Looking around I see tempers flared and defenses on high alert. Looking inward I find myself buzzing busy and accomplishing very little. I ask myself, "what can I give back today?" First I can look into my shadow self and see how my fears lead me to fall short in my relationships with others. I often get tunnel visioned into creative actions and forget to fluff the peripheral cushion my community provides. Next, I reflect on what I truly believe would be beneficial for all, not just me, for all. Then ... First Tuesday of November is Election Day in Ohio and I'm heading to the polls to express my rights. I encourage you to use your power as well. I had a wonderful conversation with the infamous "Father Joe" of our song "Love the Hell Right Out of Ya" last Saturday. My Dad stepping off the planet has brought us together to fill the void of the place in the Universal Conversation that my Dad committed his life to. In a shared desire to bring higher consciousness and open hearts we tossed ideas up in the air and watched them float down in a revelatory decent. In gentle winds, leaves flitter and fall. What does fall bring to you? 🐓

We received two silver medals from the Global Music Awards in the categories of "Album" & "Creativity" for our album "7" with Bobby Floyd!!! Yeah!

Fingers & toes crossed for Friday Nov 7th's Grammy Nominations announcement. Our friends and partners in Blues Long Tall Deb & Colin John's album "Light it Up" is also up for consideration.

Ok, so Mr. Saboteur lead to a glutinous revolt on my health and peace of mind. As of today, I'm back in "Spring" the season of greens and grass-fed meats to clean my system, build my immune system and relax my nervous system.
