The daffodils are blooming and the bamboo sways in the sunny breeze, while Pascal runs with his soccer ball and I'm writing to you. Life has slowed to a peaceful French pace. Saturday mornings at the marche with a petit cafe and lots of bread and butter. Yummy. In the downtime between gigs I've put my focus on moving and redesigning our website. You can check it out, but it will continue to grow cause this is merely phase 1. Website Link French Time is my writing time and I've been doing a lot of it. Ok ... Lil' Red's cut back a bit, but when she TREATS she knows how to TREAT! Only high quality deliciousness for me. (I can't continue the me in 3rd person bit. You all know who's tapping these keys.) So here we have 3 Frenchie "gateaux". #1 the mini canele is the perfect bite of sweetness that won't drag me out of fuel burning energy. #2 vanilla cheesecake - this was a beautiful delicate French version of a cheesecake. #3 Chocolate cookie boat overfilled with caramel mouse and raspberry drizzle an after gig treat in the celebration of 58yrs of cakes.

Honestly, I wrote this beautiful paragraph above and then cut it to paste here, but got into the rest and never pasted it. Grrr how I hate to repeat myself especially when I thought I nailed it before. It's like in the studio when I nailed an intro to Soul Burnin and Blaise didn't know it was a real take. DagNabbit!
Here we go back to the INTRIGUE ...
Pascal Fouquet after too many years of "Fuck-it" in the English speaking world has decided on a professional name change to G. Louis (Guitar Louis) which will roll out with his Surf Blues project. He's designed the cover, found the musicians and the demos are set all he needs now is for money to grow on the bamboo!
As for me ... I'm unraveling myself in search of a name too. Beginning with the release of "Why Don't You Do Right", I'll begin a project of my own. I've never been comfortable putting myself front and center, I've always preferred side by side, but I've had a lot of encouragement and I'm listening! This new project will bend into Jazz, Soul, Pop, Americana ... anywhere I'm inspired to go. Oh for a name!!!! If you have any ideas, send them my way. Of course, G. Louis will be present, but this one's more me, all me, Oh crap ... am I a narcissist ... me!
Other intrigue ... I'll be reinventing the Jukebox into a Patreon style members area on our website. It may be like a museum (yes, we're getting that old), little video lessons, Pascal's hilarious Snap video collection, more sweet treats. What do you all want?
