July ... hmmm.
This month is coming out a week late due to simply forgetting last Tuesday was the 1st of the month! Ha! Our month long vacay with Jules Fouquet was a flyby adventure. I can't believe he's back home in Rennes, France. Badlands, National Aviation Museum and Museum of Science and Technology in Chicago just to name a few hot spots. Plus way too many Stan's and Do Right Donuts! Whew ready for a health break and re-focus on our upcoming album release! July 4th we weren't feeling in the celebratory mood, so we spent the evening at Dick's Den soaking in a dynamic musical feast put together by The Governor with Bobby Floyd and Jeff Ciampa. Stunning, Thanks Gov! Long Tall Deb & Colin John released a single off their upcoming album, Light it Up! that features me on backup vocals. Finally, we have four songs out streaming and getting some radio play and Mr. Saboteur (aka Do the Donut) is coming this Friday!

This was a tuff choice for Lil' Red this month. The donuts from Deadwood were fresh, made in house, light fluffy and delicious. Do Right Donuts are top notch and inventive, especially the cream cheese icing on a glazed donut. I think I choose Lou Lou's in Deadwood!!! My favorite donut growing up was the classic sprinkle and they nailed it. Since quitting cafe a couple years ago, Pascal has taken up Hot Chocolate with oat milk, this one was especially nice.

PROJECT UPDATES: 🥁 We did a great interview with Bobby Floyd last week for our "7" Zine coming ... as soon as possible! CDs are available for sale at all our gigs and you can buy a digital download on our website HERE.

The PR is moving forward! Brother Michael the PR guru from New West Knife Works, has set us up with a virtual assistant who's gathering media contacts. On the other front, Ariel Hyatt and her team are busy plugging our songs and are getting ready to drop the album to radio stations and magazines! Yeah!
